Mahala is a design studio specialising in residential interiors, fine furnishing textiles and antiques. Founded by Alexandra Morrall, the studio is based in Hampshire and works on private homes throughout the UK and internationally.

We create interiors that are intelligent, refined and personal. Our work brings together natural materials, considered colour and a strong sense of scale and proportion. Each home is designed to feel calm, comfortable and entirely in tune with the people who live there.

We offer full interior design services as well as focused consultations. Alongside design, we source antiques and produce Mahala Textiles, an award-winning collection of furnishing fabrics known for their quiet character and exceptional quality. The collection is represented by a select group of leading showrooms internationally and has been featured in House and Garden, Veranda and Country and Town House.

Alexandra brings over a decade of experience in residential design. Her background in textiles, love of architecture and instinct for light and proportion guide the studio’s approach. Global travel continues to shape her perspective, with a particular love of the Mediterranean and its influence on how we live and design.

We work with a small number of clients at a time, offering a tailored, expert service with attention at every stage.
